Summary
Pombee is a purely local iOS app with no backend server of its own, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. User data is stored primarily on the device. Optionally, the app syncs timer and statistics data via the Apple iCloud Key-Value Store between devices signed in to the same Apple account.

Permissions
Notifications
Purpose: A single notification at the end of a timer phase (title and text are generated locally).
Revocation: Can be turned off for Pombee in the iOS Settings under “Notifications”. The timer keeps working, just without a background push alert.
Technical services
Apple iCloud (Key-Value Store)
Timer state and focus session history are optionally mirrored to NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore — only when the same Apple account is signed in to iCloud on several devices. The app does not use a server of its own.
Live Activities & Dynamic Island
Shows phase, countdown and control buttons on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island — purely locally via iOS, with no server communication by the app.
Widgets & Control Center
Home Screen widget (honeycomb progress) and the Control Center button “Start Focus”. Data is exchanged between the app and the widget extension via an App Group and stays on the device.
Haptics & system sound
Local feedback via SwiftUI haptics and a system sound — can be turned off in the app settings.
Recipients and processors
Apple Inc.
iCloud storage (Key-Value Store), app distribution via the App Store, and system infrastructure for local notifications, Live Activities and widgets.
No other third-party SDKs (Firebase, Sentry, RevenueCat, Google Analytics, etc.) are used.
No tracking and no advertising
Pombee does not use tracking, does not show advertising and does not transmit usage data to analytics services. The services used and the data they process are described in the sections above.
Retention and deletion
- Focus session history: deleted automatically after 400 days
- Settings and timer state: until the app is uninstalled or manually reset
- iCloud data: deleted by the user via Apple ID / iCloud account settings or by removing the app data
How long data is stored and how you can remove it is described above for each type of data. Data on external servers is not deleted automatically when the app is uninstalled.
Transfers to third countries
The app itself does not transfer any data to servers of its own. Optional iCloud synchronisation is subject to data processing by Apple Inc., which may also process data outside the EU. Details can be found in Apple's privacy policy.
Children
Pombee contains no age-restricted content. The App Store age rating is 4+.
Your data protection rights
